Dejad que las ukelelistas se acerquen a mí
Los kioscos de hoy cabecean melodías entrañables porque hay un nuevo número de El Jueves en su seno, y dentro de él, calentita como dentro de útero materno, habita la nueva entrega de Dando la nota. Como saben desde hace unos días, la entrega de esta semana versa sobre mujeres que cantan. Unas mejor, otras peor, yo particularmente no he tenido más remedio que rendirme a la evidencia en mi columna, que es que tengo fijaciones obsesivas con las mujeres que detesto. No me canso de ver a Amaia Montero poniéndose en evidencia:
Pero esto no es justo para nadie, amigos. No es justo para ella, que tiene derecho a ponerse hasta arriba de lo que le dé la gana, y no es justo para nosotros, que nos encanta entonar odas al líquido elemento en todo momento y no pasa nada. Al fin y al cabo, quiénes somos nosotros para juzgar lo que hace Amaia con su carrera. Por eso, y porque en el fondo me sabe mal haberme cebado con las necias de la canción melódica española en mi columna (la ilustración de Luis Bustos tampoco ha ayudado a suavizar el tema), me postro ante un fenómeno que me obsesiona y que haría recuperar la fe en la música interpretada por chicas hasta al misógino más recalcitrante (¡que no es mi caso, oiga!): las chicas que tocan el ukelele. Féminas con instrumentos minúsculos, voces aflautadas y físico a menudo como de becaria de biblioteca pública, de las que es fácil encontrar recopilaciones de vídeos como ésta, y entre las que destaco sin duda a este par de elfas del instrumento hawaiiano. Recuerden, El Jueves desde hoy en sus kioscos, y que haya féminas en abundancia para todos. O al menos, una por cabeza.
