Vuelve a casa por Primavera
En Dando la nota estuvimos dándolo todo en este pasado Primavera Sound, donde asistimos estupefactos al abundante desarrollo mamario de Frank Black y al pantojismo indie de Florence & The Machine, entre otros momentos dignos de destacar. Habíamos pensado obsequiaros con una detallada crónica a nuestra vuelta, pero en vez de eso hemos optado por descansar de tanto guitarreo y tanto perrito caliente y, a cambio, ahí arriba tenéis un breve resumen que hemos confeccionado de lo que fue este año el festival. Faltan muchos grupos, sí, empezando por Pet Shop Boys, lo sabemos, pero es que cuando tocaron estábamos comiéndonos un bocata. Estas cosas pasan. En su lugar podéis ver fragmentos de la actuación de Pixies, de la de Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkard, el arranque del concierto de los imprescindibles Wicked Wanda y al cantante de Monotonix tocando el bombo aupado por el público.
En este Primavera nos ha llamado especialmente la atención el buen número de grupos que regresaban para deleite de sus fans y nunca nunca nunca para llenar de nuevo sus cuentas bancarias tras una (en apariencia) irresoluble separación. Ahí estaban los Pixies (que regresaron hace unos años), Pavement (que volvieron hace bien poquito) o Sunny Day Real State (cuyo primer concierto en Europa tras su reunión fue precisamente éste que dieron en el Primavera Sound). A todos ellos les dedicamos la entrega de Dando la nota de esta semana, que habla precisamente de grupos que regresan y que podréis encontrar, como todas las semanas, en El Jueves que llega mañana a los kioscos.
