Gente que si vuelve, nos parece hasta bien
Reconozco que el tema de esta semana de Dando la nota me ha provocado ciertos sentimientos encontrados. Es decir, a veces nos ponemos muy pejigueros con eso de que si están muy viejos, que si es que mejor que se queden en casa, que si es que han vuelto solo por la pasta, que si es que se están cagando en mis recuerdos de juventud y en mis recuerdos de juventud sólo me cago yo (y el hecho de haberme encontrado paseando a unos trillizos a la tía buena del instituto, con treinta kilos extra). Esto es: que a menudo me parece bien que vuelva todo el mundo, sobre todo si soy fan y si soy mitómano del grupo en cuestión. Por ejemplo, la gente llora sangre cuando se le habla del regreso de los Pixies, pero cuando las canciones suenan igual de frescas y contundentes que en su día… demonios, qué más da que se estén forrando con la banda sonora de nuestro primer beso o primera paja, dependiendo de si teníamos entrecejo o no con 17 años. Vale, ya no nos follaríamos a Kim Deal, pero eh: ¡cómo si hubieras tenido oportunidad cuando sí te la habrías follado!
La cuestión es que para que se me vea desprejuiciado y que lo digo de corazón, propongo el retorno de tres grupos, tres, de mi panteón de intocables.
Uno: Shampoo. Con cuarenta años. Con rulos. Y vestidas de rosa igual. Maquilladas igual. Con las piruletas. Con todo. Pero con cuarenta y pico. Se me empañarían las gafas, y no de excitación precisamente.
Dos: Blas y las Astrales. El único grupo en condiciones que dio la movida electroclash de hace unos años (dejemos a Los Focomelos fuera de esto, ¿vale?) solo dio un concierto, teloneando a McNamara, y se difuminó dejándonos sinfonías de la insensatez que hoy día están, si cabe, aún más de candente actualidad que en su día. ¡Vuelvan, cojones!
Tres: Sugarcubes. El grupo primigenio de Björk, a la que ya, ya lo sé, todos odiamos. Pero imaginen un panorama musical que recuperara cancionzacas como esta, que Björk volviera a convertirse en una elfita encantadora y no en una menopáusica orientalizada. Un mundo que volviera a amar a Björk. ¡Qué pasaría! ¡Explotaría todo! Y aquí somos muy fans de las explosiones.
