Ay ay ay ay
Madre mía, ¿de verdad ha pasado todo un mes desde la última vez que actualizamos el blog? Pues sí, me temo que así es. Podríamos excusarnos diciendo que nos ha pasado lo mismo que al jefe y que nos hemos olvidado de que teníamos este blog, pero la realidad es otra: apenas hemos parado quietos estas últimas cuatro semanas, entre quehaceres juevísticos (¡atentos al próximo extra!) y otro tipo de quehaceres.
Dentro de esta última categoría, probablemente lo más exótico haya sido el concierto ilustrado de Wicked Wanda en la primera edición de Focopalooza. Allí estuvo Manuel Bartual (un servidor de ustedes) ilustrando mano a mano con la pizpireta Mireia Pérez (el fichaje más reciente de El Jueves) las canciones que el grupo de Kiko Libertino, Raúl Von Fuzz y el dandolanotista John Tones interpretaron el 6 de noviembre en el Espacio Camon de Madrid. Fueron todo (o casi todo) versiones de bandas sonoras clásicas de videojuegos, y si te lo perdiste puedes ponerte al día con lo que por allí pasó viendo, por ejemplo, este vídeo:
O este otro, que incluye alguno de los mejores momentos de lo que estuvimos proyectando en las pantallas de la sala mientras el grupo tocaba:
O ya en plan locurón total, la grabación íntegra de los proyectado en las pantallas… al 800% de velocidad. ¡No tuvimos que dibujar tan rápido, pero casi!
En el concierto tuvimos de manos invitadas a los también dibujantes Pedro Toro y Carlos Vermut… pero bueno, volvamos a lo que importa hoy aquí, que es Dando la nota.
Estas últimas semanas hemos hablado de muchas cosas en nuestra sección, como por ejemplo, de cantantes histriónicos. O de placeres culpables. También continuamos nuestro repaso a los formatos musicales dándole su merecido al vinilo, y hace apenas siete días pudisteis leernos entre las páginas de El Jueves hablando de los motivos y las consecuencias de cancelar un concierto.
Tras este apresurado flashback, nos ponemos al día diciéndoos que esta semana tenemos de protagonistas a los músicos más denostados y olvidados de la escena músical: los acordeonistas, los flautistas, los violoncelistas, los que tocan el triángulo, las maracas o unas castañuelas… incluso esos que al final resultan ser un chimpancé con pelucón. ¿Cómo? ¿Chimpancé con pelucón? ¿De qué estoy hablando, decís? ¡Tenéis la respuesta en El Jueves de esta semana, ya en tu kiosco favorito!
